When visiting this ancient burial site on the Orkney Isles, the tour guide told the story of a group of Audio students that did sound tests inside to see how sound would reverberate inside it. Apparently when they played the sound of a low drum, all involved got headaches and had hallucinations! It is thought that in ancient times they played drums maybe trying to commune with their ancestors on the winter solstice when the light of the rising sun shines through the entrance and lines up with the back chamber.
