The Mottistone on the Isle of Wight

Inspired by an actual event! On the Isle of Wight, I came across a sign: “This way to the Mottistone”. I followed the path, but it was getting late and starting to get dark, should I turn back? Then a strong wind pushed me along the path which had become like a tunnel of trees. When I came close to the clearing there it was, with a horse staring up at it in reverence and more horses at the path entrance staring down at me! I gasped and they fled. All just disappeared as if never there!
