The Turning Point, is a painting from my Journey of the Stone series. A collection, inspired by the stages of Alchemy and how they can be internalized on a personal level.
The Turning Point represents the fourth stage in Alchemy. ‘Conjunction.’ A time when all is united. A time of joy. The sun and moon share the sky. All opposites come together like a couple turning in a dance. Together yet separate, mingling and turning in harmony. It feels like all will be well. One could almost stay here. It is fruitful and feels like all is complete, but yet there is more to the journey.
Kind of makes me think of Summer. As the sunshine and warmth blesses the earth. So many festivities and joy as the day gets longer. Then summer solstice of the longest day marking the turning point of returning back to the next season, eventually leading to cooler days and longer nights. When we maybe reflect more.
A reminder everything has a cycle, so in the darkest winter of the soul, feel comfort that the joy of summer will eventually return! And don’t forget to let your soul dance while summer is in your heart!
